IHCO President Carlos Zarco participated on 25 May in the special edition of Tuesday Talks entitled «Rebuild better together: cooperatives & covid-19 recovery. » He analysed the impact of covid-19 in the health sector and shared some initiatives that health cooperatives launched to respond to the crisis. He also highlighted the strengths of the cooperative model and its role in national health systems.
«The world cannot rest while millions of people in low-income countries have no access to the covid-19 vaccine. As cooperatives, we have to call for action to all countries and international organisations, » said Dr Zarco.
